All stapler units of these finishers are identical. Only the mounting plate is different, but the little stapler units itself are identical. Today I had to replace one, and I noticed for the first time a little plate (amboss?) that is loosely fitted and can be turned around front to rear and upside down. Each end is marked with numbers 1 to 4. Any instructions how to set this plate under what circumstances? Are the numbers only there to indicate which side is most used?
