    Can't press scan button

    My m/c model is DI183. i can't press scan button on the m/c, why? is need to setup complete driver and utility at PC first?

      Has the machine got the required options for scanning?

      If not, then you won't be able to press the scan button and have anything happen.
      Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
