C500 - SC45-20 Assistance.

Hey Guys.....im really up a creek without a paddle wit this machine, i am getting this (SC45-20) error code, and tried all we can to clear it. Unfortunately ive been trying to get the SM for this machine, but to no avail.

Can anyone assist with clearing this problem?

Have you tried to take out the transfer belt and clean everything, the belt, blades and the brush. Especially the brush that collects waste toner and the cleaning blade did clog up terribly on a 8050 with the same code as result when the transfer belt got dirty. Cleaned everything and put back together and the 45-20 did go away... Maybe worth a try if you haven't done it yet...

make sure the image transfer belt is not twisted due too shifting off center on the rollers. Also clean the the color alignment and gamma sensors.

If the belt is twisted then you will have to go into 36 mode( enter directly from startup) and do a color alignment adjustment to reset the values or even after replacing the belt the code will return
