We are getting streaking (please see attached photo - lines in the center actually go all across but did not show up in scan) on black test prints. We change the imaging unit but are still getting the same results??

Did you run individual color samples? YMCK? If the same streaks show on other colors, it could be transfer belt. If it's only on black, it could be print heads. Did you clean those too?

-pull out all the imaging units
-pull out the transfer belt and waste box- now you can clean in good condition all the LED units with alcohol.

- check black iu, replace for testing
- 2nd transfer roller might be dirty; wash out with warm water

Does it show up on the Halftone patterns for all colors or justone specific color. Try changing the transfer roller

Clean LED head and mag.roller of black IU( for some dust accumulation like any other copier.If every thing OK then, as usual go for replacements of Black IU, if other IUs are good and/or TransferBelt assy,. which U R the best judge

Pull out the laser unit, one unit and clean the 4 mirrors, if you have even a small spec of toner on the mirror it will result in blank streaks.

How did you clean the LED head? removed the I.U and use the cleaning tool or did you remove the lasers/PH unit from the left side of the machine?
