    7155/65 dc power supply fan

Anyone know where to get replacement cooling fan for the DC power supply? It is a damn shame to have to pay hundreds of dollars for a new power supply when the only problem is the fan. Tried looking at other konica models but cannot find any with 24vdc, .012 amp cooling fan.

The best bet is to go to an electronics store with the fan and give some one at the store a look at the fan. Most fans can be bought locally.

    Just look for the following:

    1. Voltage ratings on the fan
    2. Current (AMPs)
    3. Connector
    4. Fan Size
    5. Blade pitch

The first 4 points are cruicial, but point 5 should be noted as the factory fans are designed to move so much air. Moving less air could cause overheating issues and moving too much air could cause excessive current drain from the circuit.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

We tried checking a couple local elec. supply stores. No luck. This is not a very common fan. I was hoping another Konica tech might know if this fan was used in another Konica model.

      Thanks for replying.

Bummer about the electronics shops not having any. Other than that, I can't really help sorry.
