Konica 8050 Black Laser unit failure

Hi guys,
I intend to start this thread for a typical problem in Konica 8050. The black laser units tend to fail due to polygon motor failure. Can anyone put some light on the issue and remedy to rectify or prevent the problem.

try cleaning out the fan ducts and the cooling fins on the unit.

Yes that was done already. I got 2 bad units. Got any replacement units.
