    Bizhub C253

I'm working on a NEC IT35C5, and its the equivalent to a Bizhub C253. I'm having a problem with yellow. When I do a Gradation Adj it always comes back in the values as all zeros. I've pulled the springs out in back of the drum for better contacts, replaced the HV PCB. I ran out of time today to try and swith the laser units around to see if that's the problem but I really don't think it is. I'm wondering if anyone has ever come across this problem before. The machine only has 28000 copies on it. I have one right next to it that has 3 times the amount on it. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

is there a image problem or is it just that you are reading O's on yellow unit?

There is an image problem too. When you do the gradation, the line that is suppose to be purple is coming out as brown.

sound like you have one or more image units bad

have you run a mono color of each image unit and see if they are correct?

Sounds like the imaging unit is bad. Replace the imaging unit and perform gradation adjustments. This should take care of your problem.

I don't think it is just because I have the same machine next to it and I put it in there and it works fine. I really don't think its the laser units but I'm going to go out there today and swap them around to see.

First tray stabilization then check in state confirmatin value for x and correct as necessarily then do gradiation.

Ain't it always the same..."I need help..Please, please" then never bother with any feedback. And some of these guys (girls) wonder why the usual suspect always get so much grief...Emujo
