C350 SMTP authentication

For the life of me I cannot figure where to put the user name and password for SMTP authentication to send scans as email. When i send a scan i get a SERVER CONNECT ERROR which I know is because ATT DSL requires SMTP Authentication but where do I enter this info? Any help is greatly appreciated.

bummer i know...the C350 only scans to email servers that use with NO authentication. (there is no place to add authentication credentials)

I remember reading somewhere that in a case like this, (not sure which MFP it was) the machine would utilize the login name/password used in the POP fields. Might be worth a try just to test. EMujo
