C350 runs, then blank control panel

Hey,

I got a Minolta C350 that will run pretty much about mid day and then the control panel will go blank untill the machine cools down and then it will come back up untill it gets hot again and then go blank.

Does anyone know what is going on with this machine so I can fix it? Thanks

There have been issues with the adhesive being affected by heat and humidity.

Hey CountryTech,

I can believe this to be one of the problems being that here in West TN it gets VERY hot and VERY humid. My symptoms aren't as described though. The touch screen goes as if it's in sleep mode and the only way to bring it back is to turn the machine off and wait untill it gets cooled down to turn it back on. If you don't wait and you turn it back on quickly, the touchscreen will come up, but it will flicker and go back off untill the machine completely cools down.

Any ideas?

I have not had that problem, only screens that die and remain dead.
However does sound like you may need a new one.
Shall be interested to see if there is another ' fix '
