C6501 Direct Scan to SMB - Mac

Hi,

I am facing problem using the SMB option in C6501 to scan files to my folder in Mac OS X.5

Anyone face or have solution to this problem? I do understand that some recommended using FTP or via email but customers are unwilling to accept the fact.

I am not using any Rip. Just trying to get our C6501 that had the scan features on the system to be scanned onto our Mac System using SMB.

I understand using Creo or Fiery, there's an application to support the scan features but that's not what I'm looking at.

Hope someone could help.

Have done this a couple of times the sharing and security on the mac is a little different but I have a doc that explains it very well.

Hi can you send details how to Scan via SMB. Can FTP Scanning possible?
