Could be any number of reasons. 1st check the job log, are you getting a "server connect" or "Login failure". Is this a domain controller? Get back withsome more info and we can try to help. EMujo

Did the IT rep give you credentials for the MFP to utilize? Sounds like authentication is necessary. Have him/her setup a "relay" for the MFP IPAddress and see if it works. Also, you can use the telnet command to verify you're using port 25 for email. Verify SSL settings with the rep.

All credentials are correct and verified by it dep. telnet has been successful on port 25 and authentication is not necessary on the mail server. Will try a relay
