Bizhub c450 error C6102: Drive Home Sensor malfunction

I plan to buy old C450. At the begining, I'd like to use it as a printer. The scaner belt is broken so the c6102 error occurs. Is the c450 able to work as a printer inspite of the c6102 error?

Each time you switch on the machine you will get the code as it tries to check its functions and calibrate the scanner, even if you only want to use it as a printer. Why not fix the belt?
