    Bizhub 600 problem

    Hello ,

1.The machine gets in ready state for few seconds without spin the fuser.
2.When copy is pressed the scaner scans the job and then nothing, after few seconds there is a noise from the drum modul and again nothing.
3.After initialization the same thing. We updated the firmware for most of the things expect panel...There is no service code or sc displayed. Now we are checking the SW,but we think there will be no change to this state.

Does someone know a solution or what needs to be done?

    turn on error codes

Make sure that the service code dipswitch is turned on. DIPSW 11-7-1.
It sounds like they are off, if you machine isn't doing anything.
Everyone has the right to be stupid. Some people just abuse this privelage more than others

Had a similar problem caused by the vender (key counter) mode enabled. Device was looking for a signal form the key counter to allow jobs to process. Maybe you have vendor mode turned on by mistake. EMujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

Did you upgrade the firmware to a mass production release or a special release?

There is a firmware fix for this problem, but you need to go through the special releases. I can't remember the exact firmware version, but you are looking for something similar to the fault in the symptoms part. It sounds similar to the issue, but not quite.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

dmax sensor(drum sensor) is a definate possibility. causes all sorts of warm up issues and boot up problems.
