    Bizhub 600 image shift

    Gents,

everything prints and copies just fine. The problem I'm having ONLY occurs when I'm scanning a document. The resulting scanned image has been shift to left a little MORE than a quarter of an inch. It leaves a vertical line on the right hand side of the paper which is most likely the edge of the scanned original.

Subsequent scans can/will lead to cutting off of document information etc.

    any thoughts?

    Sensors

Make sure you clean your sensors in the DF. Most importantly the sensors that lay underneath the DF. Remove the black guide (3screws) and than the white guide underneath that one (2screws) Clean these sensors. I've seen this happen before
    Good luck
Everyone has the right to be stupid. Some people just abuse this privelage more than others

Hey paulterak, If you check the List of Adjustment Items (section 9) of your feild service Manual, you'll find separate adjustments for Printer area and scanner areas. They are adjusted independantly of each other. I had this problem on a Biz200 a while ago, and it took the customer to show me on her computer screen for me to understand the issue. Good luck.
