Bizhub 211 FTP Scanning

Hi all,

Hopefully a nice easy one. Bizhub 211 has no option for scan to FTP when i browse to IP address select scan the only options i get is email and LDAP. Wheres my option for FTP?

if you set up the copier ip, it's easier to acces the pagescoope web connection to the copier and set up the ftp connection , there you can also see if it has ftp scaning

I have done that IP address is in and when you browse to it to set up scan settings. You select the one touch you wish to set up it then asks what scanning you want and my only options are Email and LDAP search.

Use webrowser, type IP addres of bizhub and go to Scan -> Adress Book, FTP addresses are from 245 to 255 (down side of the page). After setup address go to machine and press SCAN button next Adress Book and search your address

Hi you need scan acceleration kit to be installed for scanning to FTP.

U need to have NIC-502 or image controler(at least here in europe).U have to update firmware of nic-502 in few cases where firm ver is old to be able using ftp scan. U need to use windows ftp server or use any other FTP server aplication and u have to make folder where ftp aplication will place incoming data(in this case scans from copier). U need to create anther user on computer where ftp server is and configure ftp server via pagescope of bizhub 163/211 by loging as administrator whit password "SYSADM"

Just remember also, even tho you aren't using 'scan to email', you still have to enter some arbitrary data in the smtp field. Use the web browser (as above).

This is a step usually over looked, but works every time.

You must push speed dial 201 as that is the registered number for FTP
