C-253, not receiving Faxes properly...

Someone on one of these boards posted a fix for this problem a while back. Everything working properly, except faxing. There is some setting in Simulations that corrects this, and someone knew EXACTLY what ws causing it, which fixed another customer's problems a while back.

This may depend on which country your in, but here in the UK we are told to ensure that the copier is installed on it own dedicated analogue line for faxing. Yes the customer may have been recieveing faxed for over a year with thier broadband on the same line. Believe me that it can cause a problem at any time.

Also rather than using the supplied cable that comes with the kit, buy one from RS Components part number: 439-0111 i have found these to get me out of alot of issees with faxing.

Thank you Mark, but I don't think this is a line problem. It was some kind of setting that another tech had me do that fixed the problem permanently.
