    Minolta 3105 Print Controller

I just replaced a print controller but can't get anywhere as its asking for a password. The controller came off of who knows what from a wholesaler. Anyone know how to get into this thing so I can continue with the configuration to print from the computer?

    Thanks

    Mike

The model #3105 doesn't exist. What model copier is it for? Is it an embedded controller or a Fiery?

      Hello,

Sorry, my error. Its the equivalent of the Konica 8031 which is the Minolta 3102 with x3e fiery.

Default fiery password is "Fiery.1" without the quotes

see this thread for a solution....

One thing I forgot to mention in that thread. The text file attached there, "password.ps.txt", rename it "password.ps" .

Using the fiery downloader program, send the file to the fiery using the direct queue.

You can also create a print queue to the fiery. Instead of using port 9100 in RAW, create an LPD port called direct. This bypasses the print queue of the fiery. It will force the fiery to reveal the current password.
