    pi5500 system software install problem

    Hello. I am having problems installing system software on a pi5500 controller. I have the 2 files boot.efi, system.efi. I`ve done it before and it worked, but now I have problems like after transfer the system.efi file via LPT1 it starts the procedure formats the hdd and all the stuff but at 90 MB of file transfer or more sometimes it gives an error (unexpected end of file (16) ) ...

    What I`ve tried:

    - installed software from 2 different computers;
    - changed HDD on PI;
    - tried to install on another PI5500 ... same problem ... sometimes it stops at 128 -130 MB;
    - changed cable between computer and PI;

    I don`t have another system software so is it possible the system.efi file to be corrupted? suddenly ?!

      Are you using the IEEE Paralel port driver?

          Yeah pepper that`s the cable. But I solved the problem. The second cable (boxed) was broken too ... so what`s the chance? I`ve tried the 3rd cable and installed perfectly well. Thank`s for replay.
