Check the 10 amp fuse on the ih board it's probably open circuit. We have had a number of these boards fail recently. You will need to replace it.

I'm just around a C552 with this same problem. The fuse on the IHPU was burned, just as you predicted.

My trouble is, I've put a new fuse in there and now whenever I turn on the machine, the customer's surge protector (I'm not sure if this is the correct name, I'm talking about the set of switches at the facility's power box) turns off.

I'm going to try and check if I can experiment on another outlet.

Same results on another completely different power outlet. Going to take out IHPU board and check everything.

Well, so far it only happens if the 5-pin connector at the top right of the IHPU is connected - so I think I can rule out the PSU, the IHPU and the heating coils.

On the other hand, now I'm completely puzzled, since I don't know what the heck is going on with this machine!

            Help!

Hold on to that last post - I've tried it now with the 5-pin connector connected and the coils disconnected and the problem also didn't turn up.

It all points now to the coils - I'm going to order them and see what happens.

We had this problem on a C552, had to replace both the IHPU and the fusing coil.

Now I notice I never gave any feedback on my situation - we also solved it by replacing both the IHPU and the Coil. We considered trying just the IHPU, but we didn't want to risk burning a new board with the old coil.
