Machine shows no error code but takes almost 10 minutes to for a copy to come out.
printing is o.k but relatively slower than it was new.
when a big file is sent to the printer machine takes forever to print but the data indicator keeps on blinking.
i have checked the ram ,harddisk seems o.k.
my biggest corncern is when making copies (black /colour) machine scans o.k but output takes ages to come out .
please assist

Hi....

I've got the same issue...
Try a different Network-Speed. In some cases the AutoSense won't work properly.
Change to 100 Full Duplex or half Duplex...

Is this for every copie or only the first after turn on, Did you install special fimware for PH"S?
Check memory HDD status! what about internal test prints?

Depends on what you are printing and whether or not you are using the PS driver or the PCL. Though both are somewhat similar in looks, they are quite a bit different in the type of language used to print, and will produce slightly different output depending on the program printed from and the content of the files themselves.

If you are printing PDFs, try using the advanced printing option "print as image". This will flatten any PDF that contains overly large content. For example, someone just plops a 10 megapixel image into a PDF maker without first formatting the image to a smaller size that is in the 600x600 dpi size. It may fit the page, but the raw data is still contained there and the machine will unpack the compressed image prior to printing. Print as image formats the image as is on the PC before the job is sent, saving a lot of rip time. Depending on the power of the PC, this could also take some time for the computer to rasterize the image. Print as image is only a PDF option.

The same thing goes with any other file format. If you have embedded raw images within a page in MS Word, you will also suffer this problem. Best to format the images prior to embedding them. This can also apply to many other file types, such as anything from autocad embedded images.

Sure. Depending on what you print. It will takes time if you print image file than text file. That's for printing function.
For copier function, try to upgrade the firmware.

Sorry i think i was not clear.the problem is when photocopying be it a blank document the machine takes forever for the copy to come out .behaving as if it thick paper setting have been activated.

then likely the problem may be firmware related.

Update the firmware to latest, or if already at latest, reflash anyway.

After the scan is the engine doing anything? Is it running stabilization? Are your consumables ok? Or does it just sit there and blink with no engine activity?

o.k after scanning machine running stabilization but takes a longer time for the copy to come out.
all consumables are relatively new

Would have to tend to lean toward firmware or NVRAM. If not main board. It should be coding out taking that long.
