    C451 problem grayscale

    Hello,
I have a problem with C451 - when printing 250-300g paper A4 landscape in grayscale the background density is uneven (see the attachment). The machine is at 35000 copies. Any ideas for solving the problem?
    Thanks in advance.

Use bypass tray at thick 4 setting.

The printout was made with these settings - bypass tray at thick 4. Also I redused the transport speed of the fusing unit and redused the printer resist loop for thick 4 mode.

How does it do with normal paper?

You may need to adjust 2nd transfer values in tech rep mode for thick stocks if it looks fine on thin stocks.
