    7085 IP-602 Controller Rebuild

I've recently had an IP-602 motherboard crash and I've tried using a Dell PC motherboard with the NIC and HDD from the IP to bring it back up. Unfortunately it didn't work past the boot sequence. Just wondering if anyone out there had tried to use another PC's motherboard and if it worked or not. If it did I'd love to know how you got it to work. Thanks.

We had one crater and pulled the CIC board from the IP and put it in another computer and it lives again. Had to change BIOS settings to let it run without a keyboard or mouse.

I don't have a lot of experience with computer rebuilding, but are you saying you pulled the processesor off and put it on another motherboard to get it to work?

There is the one board that has the cable that runs to the copier. Install it in the new computer.

Already swapped over that board. We figured we may have an IRQ conflict with the port it's installed in.
