strange problem on C253

Hello, I have this problem on a C253
the machine while running the scans slows to a stop, does not report errors but leaves the network and are forced to completely shut down the machine to restore the connection
the firmware is updated and has replaced all the tabs on the back of the car including hard disk and RAM

Backup any and all user data (one touches, authentication, network settings) and then do a Data Initialize from tech rep. Reprogram the settings and import the user data and then observe for behavior.

If it goes away, great. If not, let us know...
