Can someone please settle a debate, what is required for the biometric authentication unit (finger readers). Do they just plug into the machines (C452 series) or do they need some kind of attachment kit?

Both units plug into the USB slot on back side of MFP. You may need the extra USB port if you have an external keyboard attached. You also need a work table that the units mount to.
AU102 Finger (vein) reader. Unit is enabled in service mode billing settings, then programmed by admin at MFP
AU201H HID (card) reader. This will need the loadable device driver uploaded to the MFP (similar to a f/w update and available from SSD)If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals. -
