They might need patching as well.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

You can try doing a server clear. Like any computer, the fiery is an OS with a hard drive, and files get written to it and deleted over time, eventually the drive becomes heavily fragmented and can cause issues, especially if the queue is a large one or you have many files in the hold queue. The clear server command, available from the control interface or Command Workstation, simply deletes the contents of those queues.

Or, you can do a factory reset from the control panel only. Be sure to print out a configuration sheet before you do. Factory reset will clear the server and reset all the settings, requiring you to reprogram in those settings.

The previous guys also mentioned what version you are running, as well as applicable patches needed. Current version of fiery system code are 1.0 and 1.1, each has a series of patches.

You can access the device remote desktop via another computer on the same network. Use the remote desktop link found in the start menu, provide the IP address of the fiery and when prompted, the login name is Administrator and the password is "Fiery.1" without the quotes. From there, you will see an XP desktop. In the start menu, you will see the Fiery Tools, select update...the rest should be obvious to do this.

Also, ensure the copier has the latest firmware. Base firmware is G00-06.

Also, ensure your client is using the correct driver for the system version level of the fiery. To be sure, only download the driver that is available through the Fiery Web interface itself, not off the net. The CD package may or may not have the correct version as well.
