bh500 not receive fax

FK-502 I installed, I regularly send faxes but not receive them.
When a fax comes in, although the phone line is set as auto-rx, the fax board cut off communication.

Does it have a hard drive? it may need reformatted. All setup procedures correct and in order? Check marketing area.

This is a symptom of a bad phone line, unplug the line from your machine and call your fax number if it still rings once and cuts off, contact your phone service provider.

A couple of ideas to try (although dialing your own phone can resolve many issues)..
Ensure you are using the 2 wire cable supplied with the fax kit, normal 4 wire cable can cause issues
MFP requires an analog phone jack and should not be shared with the credit card machine
No VOIP
Reduce the comm speed and see if any change
If it's a new fax board in an older 500, update firmware to ver 3.0 (reload of f/w might be a good idea anyway)

Thanks to your advice I have solved the problem (the country of installation was JAPAN ). Now work fine.
