Konica 1050e SC70-01 on FS503

I have a Konica Minolta 1050e with both the FS503 and a Perfect binder that I alternate on and off with.
The problem started with the stapler not finishing its cycle and stopping with the head jammed down on the paper after the set was stapled. That problem got worse with the paper intermittently not traveling through to the stapling position. Now the problem is that the "Finisher is now operating" won't go away.
Also in the adjustments mode from the operator panel when the finisher adjustment is selected the system immediately displays an error SC70-01. Any suggections?

check the conections of :

FD-501 control board (15AG-9310)
Main body I/F wiring (15AG90320)
SD-501 control board (15AN-9310)

FSN I/F wiring (15AN90020)
in my case the sd-501 control caused this but any of the above either faulty or just poor conection can cause this
