Lines top and bottom on EP1080

Hi all... I have an older Minolta EP1080 that has been working great for many years. Recently we had to replace the drum assembly and it hasn't quite been the same since.

No matter what contrast settings we use, we get dark lines on the top and bottom of the copies. On another site, it was suggested to run an "F-5" in the tech menu, which helped, but can't quite seem to get rid of them.

Does anyone have any other ideas what to try? (or maybe what the default values should be for the F5? currently set at c4)

    Thanks for ANY information!!

Did you install a new cleaning blade when you replaced the photoconductor?

The Lines On The Sides Is Definitelly Your Cleaning Blade , As For The Rest Of Your Copy You Might Have To Set The Exposure Manually In The F3 Mode , The Higher You Set The Lighter The Copy Also Remember To Set F3l .
