konica minolta 3510 jamming

question for ya'll. 2nd tray is fine for paper feed. 1st tray will pull out of the tray and stop right before the sync roller. I am going to replace the feed clutch which is so fun for the 1st tray and the feed tires. my only concern is that it pulls the paper out and then stops pretty much in the same place. no matter what paper orientation is. I was thinking sync clutch. but it works perfectly out of the second tray. any thoughts?

take up clutch should resolve the problem had to replace almost all the original clutches on these units when first came out had a problem with eccess grease gave exactly the problem you describe

I am going to replace the clutches. it is just wierd that it would jam in the same spot every time. you would think a clutch jam would be in differnt spots. I am off to the customers office. thanks
