Document Scan using Pi3502 for Minolta Copiers

I have just installed Pi3502 on Minolta copier, it works OK for printing. I want to enable the scan mode, what do I have to Do?

    Thanks,

Agreed with Morlock. You must have these options.

Open up the Pi3502 and you should find a Smart Card card slot. This slot should have the upgrade kit (smart card) inserted before scanning then becomes available.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

You would need to find one on ebay or a Konica Minolta reseller.

Chances are that you will have tough time finding the upgrade and it might be easier to find another Pi3502 with the scanner upgrade already installed.

also it is probably going to cost you an arm and a leg for the postscript/scan kit. last one i seen for sale was over $350.00 and now they are getting rarer than rocking horse crap.

                    Dear Apostolis,

Thanks for the details of th memory stick. I can look around and get one.
Second item is the issue, do you know any source for the second item?

the scanner work fine too, with 64MB-PC100/PC133 one side (84 pin) SDRAM memorie's .If it's hard to find one side (84pin) SDRAM 128MB or 64MB-PC100/PC133,
you can use 256MB-PC100/PC133 two side (168pin) SDRAM , In this case the controller will accept the one side (128MB) of the sdram.I think you can find on ebay this memories and the minolta PS module.
