The assumption would be yes, since the IU is interchangeable.

    But don't quote me.

Going by the fact that the colour toner r interchangable, I'm guessing the black toner for the faster model black toner must have a higher yield. My concern though is the chip may be programmed for the C552 only.

I'll try it in the morning lol

      cheers fir the info

I suspect this is like many other things with KM products. They like to change the packaging just ever so slightly to make it appear that there is a difference, but in reality there isn't any real difference at all. For example, the waste toner bottle for a CF3102 has some differences to the WTB of a C450, but I can still put either bottle in either machine.

And some black and white machines have the same clutches/motors as their same model line colours, but the part numbers are different. Same thing for many bearings and bushings. For example, the belt unit on the doc feeder of a C450, the bearings there are the same bearings that can be found on the transfer belt unit of a C500/6500, but all three bearings, last I looked, had different part numbers.

It can be a problem, especially since KM head office is all over us for having a high inventory (doesn't help considering we inherited the dead inventory of the refurb center), and many items we have are virtually identical but with different part numbers. F
