we have a konica 7045 that has been intermittently popping the finisher tray failure message. finally went out and swapped finisher with a known good performing one. worked fine for 3 to 4 months. now has gone back to the same problem. our senior tech went there today, with new switches for stapler. now when the box is turned on it doesn't even see that a finisher is attached. we're at the point of possibly swapping the whole box. anybody seen this with these boxes? they have been extremly reliable in our expierence and we haven't had any real problems with the many we have in place. any help would be greatly appreciated. tia,rb

turns out that installing a sorter control board was the fix. rb12
