    C280 with PC107

    I keep getting 20-21 jams from tray 3, the paper reaches vertical sensor on tray3 then stops, all sensors check out ok , all moters are working, i have replaced the feed tyres (even thou machine is new only done 100 copies) i have also replaced the spring clutch on the feed ass'bly

    has any one any ideas

      Have a look at the separator roller drive system. The newer units have a different type of one way clutch, I have had a few now that are all gummed up with thick black grease, cleaned it out and a bit of wd40 and off it goes. The easy way to test for it is to try to turn the sep roller by a finger tip in the direction of paper feed..it will be very tight if it is the problem.

        the machine is on b4 firmware, i think i found the problem.

        there was a semi - break on the brown wire connecting m27 feed moter
