    minolta di 620 polyester films

    1155 3838 01
    1155 3861 02
    1155 3860 02

Seems that neither Minolta , nore Katun, do not manufacture any more the polyester films for MINOLTA DI 620.Did anyone knew some sort of material who could replace the polyester films ? Also the thickness? For the fixing we could use some double adhesive type temperature resistant.

All of the parts mentioned in your post are still available in Europe - they are in official Konica Minolta pricelist, so they should be available also in other regions like US and Asia.

I have tried to order 1 pc 1155-3861-02 + 1 pc 1155-3860-02 , and i have receive 2 pcs 1155-3860-02, 4 ( four) dealers reply to me that one of this polyester film is not in production anymore. Also, the holder 1155-3831-01, i have try to order it , but also is not producing any more.So , you can see , more and more...And also seems that the price list from MINOLTA , is not the same for all countries... Serious company, isn t it?
If you know someone from MINOLTA, you can communicate them , both with all "my good wishes"....I must work now with broken parts , with glue on them...
      PS: I m from Romania.

Seems possible that those parts are not available anymore, because the machine is more than 10 years old, and as I remember 2 years ago there was a "last chance" program for ordering parts for such old machines (but don't remember if there was Di620 in it).
However I will try to talk with friends from Minolta to clear the situation.

Yes the 520/ 620 was on that list.

Not so fortunate, 'cause there are still many of them in the field.
Which one of the newer machines would work 10+ years? ;/

Regarding the polyester films, indeed there are not in production anymore, any of them.Could you find , or anyone knows the technical denomination for this material (polyester film- for example MYLAR POLYESTER FILM or MELINEX POLYESTER FILM) and the thickness?
