    color 8031

    client is having issue with color.
    one side of the color is coming out in magenta red "band"
    I figure it might be image drum unit or possible that color image sensors needs to be clean..

    have call back tomorrow..
    any ideas... i don't touch konica too offen..

          Have you cleaned all of the LED arrays? Sometimes you may need to use a slightly damp cloth and then immediately dry them with another cloth. Try that, see what happens!
          If you are hitting your head up against a wall it always feels better when you stop.

              I had something similar but i also had a green band on opposite side. red band was at back and green at front, running in feed direction. i replaced the black LED! the LED's are known to cause weird problems on these machines, especially on image.
