have 4 of these machines have a strange problem.the printers are working o.k on print mode but scanning and copying copies comes out black or half page comes out o.k
this is despite replacing the whole scanning section with a working one
please assist

time to call the Km help line!! Aren't these under warranty? Ribbon cable would be where I'd start. The ribbon cable then goes to the right side of printer (under cover) and into a smaller pwb. That board failed on a similar model for me.
