    6500 Starter Counter

Hi to everyone anybody knows why i cannot reset the starter counter of the Bizhub6500.
I Follow the Procedure on the manual but after you return from the Normal Copy menu every data is still there. The Developer Count now is Almost 400%..

Any help will be Much Appreciated.

You have to clear the counter before you add the dev and run toner initial etc or the count won't clear.

Resetting the count is possible from my experience.

The question I would be asking, is are you resetting the developer unit or the developer itself? There is a difference.

you can reset the developer counter by hand but you have to perform the "toner density sensor unit" to reset the distance of the developer. Peform this test only when you replace the developer.

I'm going to reset the developer count first and then perform the toner density initialization or in reverse?

When trying to reset the developer counter in the Special Parts Counter, the page count resets, but not the distance count.

CAUSE: The Toner Density Sensor Auto Adjust was not performed.
                SOLUTION: Please perform the following:
                1. Enter the Service Mode.
                2. Process Adjust.
                3. Drum Peculiarity Adj.
                4. Perform the Toner Density Sensor Init adjustment.
