scan/fax and mailbox buttons

Hello,
I had an issue earlier and had to reset machine. this caused removal of some of the options, had to reinstall print info and scanning. scan/fax and mailbox just beeps, I would like to know how to activate these functions. Thanks

Go to service mode and install hard drive and fax pwb.
