Konica 8050 problem after transport

My friend has the same Konica like me. But a lot away from me in order to change something parts. Problems began after the transports from one location to another.
Printer does not appear any error, as the ignition and when testing the service menu, for example, 25 or 36. Below you can see examples. All colors except black out ok.

A copier machine is a very delicate thing, even one that looks as robust as the mentioned model. Odds are the machine was either tilted or roughly handled. Someone must open the machine up and check all the imaging components - be prepared, chances are that it's going to need some new parts.

But I do not know whether you see white spots on some of the colors on the EFI test page, they still exist

Here's what I got on white spots:

[Symptom] Image lacks like white spots.

There are two kinds of white spots:

a) White spots with core (white spot with a solid dot in the middle)
b) White spots without core (white spot without dot in the middle).

You must examine your spots closely and see what kind you are getting. Then, follow the troubleshooting:

[Problem identification]

A: If the spots appear with single color and they have cores, go to Probable causes A-a, and if they do not have cores, go to Probable causes A-b.

B: If the spots do not appear with recommended paper, go to Probable cause B. If the spots appear on the entire image like a leopard print pattern (about 10 spots on A3), go to Carrier Attachment.

[Probable causes]

A-a: Under high room temperature or if machine internal temperature rises for some reason, toner and so on becomes a core in the developer and around the core transfer failure (first/second transfer) occurs, generating white spots. (Go to Basic solutions A.)

A-b: When low coverage originals are printed in volume, the developer charge amount increases and the transfer ability decreases. White spots occur at those areas. (Go to Basic solutions A.)

B: When the first transfer and second transfer currents are not set appropriately to the paper used by the customer, transfer ability decreases and white spots tend to occur. (Go to Basic solutions B.)

[Basic solutions]

A: Perform manual toner refresh mode.
1. To resolve developer deterioration, perform the toner refresh mode in the key operator mode. (up to three times)
2. If it is not resolved by the manual toner refresh mode, output seven A3 solid pages from the 36 mode internal pattern in the affected color with customer’s consent.

B: If white spots occur with every color, adjust the first transfer current and the second transfer current.
1) Adjust the first transfer current in the 36 mode, 1. Process adjustment, 1. High voltage adjustment, 1. First transfer current adjustment within a range between -45 and -30μA. However, too large and too small values are both NG.
2) For the second transfer current adjustment, see the separate sheet of 15. Paper Support.

Carrier Attachment on Image

[Symptom] Carrier attaches on paper and image becomes like a leopard print pattern. The surface of paper becomes rough.

[Problem identification]
A: If carrier attaches on entire image, go to Probable causes A.
B: If white streaks occur and carrier attaches on the streaks, go to Probable causes B.

[Probable causes]
A: The drum surface potential sensor is broken.
If the sensor is p/n 65AA-2281, it easily breaks and then the drum surface potential cannot be adjusted. As the result, the drum surface potential rises abnormally and carrier attachment occurs. (Go to Basic solutions A.)

B: The charging grid is soiled with toner and so on and the charging grid potential control becomes poor. Drum surface potential rises abnormally at the parts where correspond with the soiled parts of the grid, and carrier attachment occurs. (Go to Basic solutions B.)

[Basic solutions]
A: Check breakage of the potential sensor.
1) Output the adjustment list from the 36 mode, 8-2 and see P1.
2) Check the setting value: Grid (Y to K1/1). The value obtained here is A.
3) Perform the 47 mode 06-P0 through 3. Multiply the displayed value by 4. The value obtained here is B.
4) If A-B is more than 250v, replace the potential sensor with the modified type and then perform the gamma automatic adjustment in the key operator mode, 21. Execute adjustment operation. If it is 250v or less, ensure that the charging corona is properly installed.
If the old type potential sensor (65AA-2281) is used, change to the modified type (65AA-2282) is recommended.

B: Clean the grid surface using with napless nonwoven (hydrowipe65AA-9920).

If what I am seeing in the images is what is being referred to as spots...the cyan appears to be the most affected. It could be a contaminated developer unit, failing unit, failing developer, failing drum and failing first transfer roller, or any combination of the above.

You can try a toner refresh, belt refresh process from the main user control panel. That might arrest the problem without anything to do further.

To narrow it down, change the cyan drum unit with the magenta or black, provided they are "spot free". Do the same with the charge unit, though I doubt that will affect this specific problem.

It quite likely may need a PM...what are the counts on the drum, charger, developer, developer unit, transfer belt, 2nd transfer?
