bizhub 164 not displaying service mode

i have this bizhub 164 brand new piece to install. the trouble is for the initial ATDC adjustment, the machine is not displaying service mode. I expect that when the select key is pressed the machine should display among others utility and service, it displays utility along with other functions but not service mode. checked the service manual but doesn't seem to have a definitive procedure. anyone knows a way to get to service mode please?

+ or - & FUNCTION Menu/Select

+ or - & TCR AUTO ADJUST.
