What is the life on the drum? Is the image on the drum good or is it pale as well? Have you done a full PM lately/ what is PM count? Is the charge good? All these things can affect the copy quality! More details are required before we can try to help.
Are you an end user or a tech?

A good point I forgot about that! I always find it hard to try to remotely diagnose a problem without a scan of the reported fault!
