    Dear Friend,
If my memory is good, then it's some thing related to ATDC ( T/C ratio ) setting. Put a new developer, Perform L detection ( ie. in 47-51 mode & then 'Start' key). Sorry, before that perform a 47-90 also, so that counters will be cleared. Also, check for the contact between IU & M/c side & connectors. It's an 'old analog' loose contacts can happen due to constant pulling out/insertion of IU from the machine also.
I'm saying this from my memory only, as I stopped with these models at-least 5,6 years from now.
Entering a 47 mode is easy (hold keys 4 & 7 simultaneously, press POWER button & wait a while till HI, or Lo is displayed& then press 90 & Start key. similar for 47-51 also, but this time M/c will work for approx. 180sec( performing L detect).

yea, check the corona unit, a wire will either be snapped or you might have to insulate the corona end blocks.
