    driver issues

    I have a customer who just purchased a new lap top with windoes 7 and wants to hook up a DI2010 to net work. What driver can they down load?

    The driver for Windows 7 is built-in to the operating system. Try doing a Windows Update at the Driver Selection screen if you don't see it, and it will find it after the update finishes.

    Alternatively, you can force Windows 7 to load the Windows XP driver. Of course, if you have a 64-bit version of Windows 7, you won't be able to do this (unless you use the buggy Win-XP 64 driver.)

      Vista PS driver (compatible with Win7), both x32 and x64

      The PCL driver unfortunately is only up to Win2003 and only x32.

        The Vista drivers Stirton posted do work, however, a caveat:

        A lot of these machines don't have Postscript (PS) interpreters in them, be wary of using the PS driver. Symptoms of this are the print job leaving the computer's queue, and the copier not responding at all. You can print out a config page to check for the option.
