    BIZHUB C200 Problem

    Hello to everyone,

    I have a huge problem with a c200.
I have one c200 for personal use and another that came to me for service.

The massage is that you need to change Image Unit ( Cyan, Magenta and Yellow)

I put the new ones of the machine that i work in the one that came for service for trying to reset the machine and use long life image unit.
And this is what happened : The machine that came for service does not recognize the image unit from my bizhub c200 and after that after i put the image unit of my machine in the place of my machine it says to change image unit and does not recognize the image unit and my machine now says IMAGE UNIT NEED TO BE CHANGE ALTHOUGH THE IMAGE UINIT HAD MADE 10.000 COPIES ONLY.

    Please help my friends...

No way to come back .
You can only recip the units.
        Sorry..

I don't believe so, once the message that message comes up, it needs to see a new unit to reset counters. There are aftermarket chips out there to reset the iu's. Not sure with the C200, but I know on other models you can upgrade firmware so it will give a message but not stop the machine.

but how it is possible that my units that have made 10.000 copies now in the machine that they were that say image units need to be changed?

Didi the chip blown up in the machine that i have put them??

I agree with Bizhub. Normally if you reverse the IU before notice of substitution there is no problem. But you have placed the IU used in a machine that showed the warning. Therefore, the IU, although only 10,000 prints were not able to reset the machine of your customer, but rather took the information and you find yourself in this awkward situation. Try to do what you suggest Bizhub. Probably works. Good luck.

Thank you acusso 1234 and Bizhub for your help.

Do you know the version of firmware needed to extend the imaging unit of bizhub c200 because i have in Konica minolta Infohub???

No. But maybe, as Bizhub say, you can put new units only to reset, and then take them out as new. In this way your box will work. But the customer's box will need new unit or chips, like the begin of the story.

If it were possible, no one would use the new IU or chips ..... So my answer is no.

never put an iu that has asked for replacement into a working machine or you will end up in the situation you are in now. The only real solution now is to rechip or purchase a Reset Tool if interested visit my web site.
Online Store is closed. Chip resetting is a thing of the past! Thank you to all my past customers.
