    Konica 7020

We have a customer with this model and the fault is that it will not drive any of the paper feed system, cassettes or manual by-pass.

I have checked the gearing system and the only problem I could see was that there is a solenoid that transfers the drive, it is this that has no function, all gears are fine.

I measured the power to this solenoid and it has none. Does the machine require a reset or does any body out there have any further checks I should do?

A fuse is blown on the driver board. You should either test all the drives in I/O mode or swap the driver board (sits above LVPS)

The driver board has almost around 12- 13 ICP which is like fuses, you need to check for the one which is open and repair it with a fuse which is less than 600ma in some cases or 1 -2 amps in some cases.

        Thank you,

        You fellas where correct!

Replaced the faulty ICP and the customer is now back up and running.
