    bizhub 250

    Hi
    We have a bizhub 250, all is working fine but on the display it says "please turn on the modem". we got this machine second hand and it has always displayed this. the reason we need to get the indictor back to normal is the custom thinks there is something wrong all the time it's being displayed. we have been through all the tech settings and cannot find
    anything. also as far as we are concerned this machine has no modem there is no fax installed

      Did it possibly have a fax system at one time that has been removed?

              I robbed a fax from a 350 today and I the machine didn't care....that is I didn't have to uninstall anything in service mode

                  It appen because the machine had a gsm modem for CSRC. Do a RAM CLEAR into the csrc (service mode) and the message will desappear. The 7 digit password depends of the choice of the past tecnician, but I have see 1234567 or 1111111.
