A few days ago we purchased a C500 with all options (like a Fiery S300, LCT, etc.). We installed Command Workstation 5 and started printing right away. After a few days the black toner runs low but in the Command Workstation all consumables are still 100%. Are we missing something or must we install more/other software or update the controller? During printing the paper-trays continue on 100% by full load on start.

Hello internetfab,
there is no bidirectional communication between the Fiery Controller and the C500.
You can't use this tools with C500.
In my mind is that the CWS5 does not support the "old" Fiery System that was installed on a Ciery S300.
There is only a Support for Fiery System 9 and newer. The S300 has System 6 or 8.

First of all thank you for your reply. We are relatively new to this. What do you prefer/advise for kind of software or CWS that does support these features. It would come out handy.

Load CWS4 that comes on the software disk or install it from the fiery itself.Browse to the ip address of the fiery and go to the downloads section if I remember correctly.Comment
