    [Jamming] Bizhub C280

Has anyone experienced an unusual amount of jamming on any of the C220/280/360 range?
I have one that keeps jamming from T1 giving jam codes of 3003 & 1144. in one day i can expect 20-30 jams from t1. The surprising part is that it has only done 3000 copies and is less than 2 months old!! i have checked all the obvious and all seems fine. Anyone got any suggestions?
    Thanks

Intermittent jam code 1144when feeding from the first tray.
      Solution
      CAUSE:Failure of 1stPaper Feed assembly.

          Hi,

I have had 30-40 Machines with this problem!! I take the following measeures and I have only had to replace 2 feed stations

1 - Strip and clean the clutch, Its usually rusted up (Faulty batch from korea konica used in some machines)
2 - Cut ALL!! the cable ties from the feed station wiring loom (konica manuafacturing put them on to tight and can shot the cables out)
3 - UPGRADE FIRMWARE TO LATEST VERSION (B4)
4 - Check the mylor guide alignment on the tray with the feed station rollers (sometimes need to bend it up slightly)
5 - If the machine has done 80k or more you may have worn feed tyres so change them

The sep roller torque limiter grease goes hard , strip, clean and regrease, also make sure the vertical transport clear plastic guides have not popped out...easy to do if users are careless!
Please do not PM me without asking first.

This is the first thing to see.

There is a modification that includes little gray tabs that (supposedly) keep users from breaking off the holding tabs on the vertical transport clear plastic guides. These are broken off more often than not. Tabs clip on ears to strengthen.

Jip. Those reinforce parts really works well. Install those and the customer will need to find something else to break.
