      Remove rear cover, remove rear inner cover, install HDD and both interface connectors. Enter service mode an set HDD to install, power off and on, go back into service mode and format HDD. Should be all it takes. Please don't as for passwords to get into service mode. Emujo

          for safety I would copy the address book, scan/email settings before putting on the hard drive.
