C252 touchscreen problems

Hello ,

In past few weeks I started to get problems with touchscreen on my c252 , the screen works fine , but it does not respond to touch , first time when it happend i simply restarted the machine and everyting was fine , a week later , same problem - restarted , lets say 5 times and it worked again ... now for couple of days touchscreen doesnt respond at all ... is there any solution to fix this problem , or do I need to buy new touchpad and replace it , if yes , where can I get one ?

already tryed that , didnot help . touchscreen does not respond at all

Touch Panel/Control Panel failure. Due to the environment, over time, conductivity of the touchscreen connection deteriorates because of high temperature/high humidity. Please replace with the new updated version ......

About the price and availability, you'll need to check with a copier tech. I'd recommend it also because, although the failing touchscreen is the most likely cause, there could be other reasons and you could be spending money on the touchscreen unnecessarily.

About heating it, I never tried it, but if you're fairly sure the touchscreen is faulty, you wouldn't lose enything by trying - but take it out of the machine before heating it (fairly obvious, but better safe than sorry).

Search on the forum - I believe there's more to it than just simply heating it.
